Safwan

Safwan is derived from the Arabic root s-f-w (ص-ف-و), a trilateral root carrying the essential sense of clarity, purity, and being free from impurity. The concrete noun 'safwan' describes smooth, polished stones found in riverbeds and desert landscapes, stones that have been gradually refined by the movement of water over long periods of time.
