Prithvi

Prithvi comes from the Sanskrit root prithu, meaning broad or wide, which in turn gave rise to the concept of prithvi as the broad earth. In Vedic cosmology, Prithvi is the goddess of the earth, one of the five fundamental elements, and is revered as the mother of all living beings.

The name is closely connected to the legendary king Prithu, a figure from the Puranas who is said to have milked the earth like a cow to provide nourishment for humanity. This mythological association gives the name an additional layer of generosity and abundance, linking the bearer symbolically to both royalty and the natural world.
