Eshan

Eshan is a phonetic variant of Ishaan, both derived from the Sanskrit word 'ishan' or 'isana', which is an epithet of Lord Shiva meaning ruler or controller. In Vedic cosmology 'Ishana' also names the northeast direction, one of the eight cardinal and intercardinal directions (ashtadik), and is associated with divine benevolence and auspiciousness.
